About Gordon Cameron

Gordon Cameron has worked in the field of vocational guidance and rehabilitation since January 1982 after completing the post-graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance from Napier College of Technology (now Napier University ). Previously he had obtained a BA Degree from Stirling University in 1978. He also holds the Certificate in Guidance from Dundee College of Education (now Dundee University ) 1986, and the Advanced Certificate in Special Needs Careers Guidance from the Institute of Careers Guidance 1990.

Since April 1997 he has worked as a Vocational Consultant. His work involves close liaison with employers, solicitors, insurance companies, health, training and education organisations to identify the speedy delivery of vocational services and to advise on return to work issues, employment trends and earnings potential.

Throughout his career, as an integral part of his work, he has carried out research of local and national labour market trends. He is an approved user of Aptitude Test Materials: British Psychological Society. He is a member of The Institute of Careers Guidance (ICG) and holds registration with them as a Registered Careers Guidance Practitioner. He is also a member of The Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA), The International Association of Educational & Vocational Guidance, and the National Library Resource for Guidance (NLRG). He is registered with The Law Society of Scotland Directory of Expert Witnesses.
